Office Manager

ELAN GMK is looking for an energetic and experienced Office Manager to
perform various general administrative and bookkeeping duties.
Candidate must be computer literate with general knowledge of Word,
Outlook and
Excel. We are looking for:
- Strong communications skills including telephone work (no sales)
- MUST be proficient in QuickBooks Pro. A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, invoicing, journal entry, month end financial reports, taxes, etc...
- Preparation for trade shows and customer visits.
- Additional duties include but not limited to vendor and client interaction, light phones and general office duties.
- Fast learner of imaging and document management software development business.
- Strong team orientation and high level of energy, drive, and motivation.
- Punctual, with good work references.
The primary job responsibility for this position is bookkeeping/accounting/finance, including interfacing with the company's accounting firm. However, at current time the activities associated with this -- narrow -- description, won't fill out a full workday. Optimally, the candidate will posses additional skills which can be used to support additional business activities at the company. Any of the following skills will be handled as positive evaluation:
- Technical writing for manuals or web pages, press releases
- Web site content creation and maintenance
- Computer network configuration and maintenance
- Software testing and reporting
- Graphics art skills with PhotoShop/Illustrator/Fireworks
