The make-ready output or imposed file received from the Proofing or Imposition Modules can be submitted to a cut sheet or continuous feed printer using LPR or Xerox XDS print submission. Different queues may be defined to submit directly to a specific queue.
The Elan Printing and Archiving module handles the make-ready output or imposed file received from the Imaging, Proofing or Imposition Modules. The file(s) can be submitted to a cut sheet or continuous feed printer using LPR or Xerox XDS print submission. Several choices are available to archive the job or just the output files.

Archiving:

Besides the primary output files, an archiving module is also included, where the operator has complete control of the archive location of the original input files, working and output files, including the options to archive the whole job or burn them to a CD/DVD ROM |
