What is Impositioning?
Imposition is defined by taking a sequence of pages of a book or publication and prepare it for printing spreads and/or more then one copy at once. There will be a new layout created from the original file(s).
The integrated impositioning solution of the Proofer workflow creates 2,3 and 4-up PDF files supporting portrait and landscape orientation. The newly created PDF files can be inspected using the Proofing module.
The One-Step Imposition module can:
| • | Impose pages in a variety of configurations, |
| • | Stamp documents with semi transparent or opaque stamps, |
| • | Resize pages – make fit / make use excess page space |
