ELAN Imaging and Assembly provides powerful tools for multi-layer image editing such as:
Advanced Image Processing
Addresses the scanning and printing of mixed-content (halftone images + text) pages by grayscale processing and multiple-layer page decomposition. Automatic or manual halftone page region selection and batch processing based on individual or common settings.
Raster Editing
Some of the tools available are: Marker Select, Move, Snap, Resize Selection, Copy, Cut, Paste, Undo, Redo, Quick Erase, Delete Inside, Delete Outside, Deskew, Invert, Rotate, Mirror, Border Removal, Despeckle, Line Removal, Detect Selected Area, Detect Page, and Masking Text.
Image Batch Processing
Batch processing is based on a selection of one or more files. Some tools available are: Deskew, Invert, Rotate, Mirror, Border Removal, Despeckle, Page Positioning, and Masking.
On all three image editing tabs, original tab, composite tab and edit tab, you have the ability to Focus Zoom. To focus zoom just place your cursor at the center of the area you want to zoom in on and press the plus key (+). Continue to press this key until you are satisfied with the magnification.
Conversely, pressing the minus key (-) will decrease the magnification. Below you can see a black and white image magnified so that you can see the individual pixels.
