ELAN Professional Proofer has many ways to adapt to the way you work - including giving you quick access to the tools you use most often while hiding tools that you seldom need.

Floating Toolbars

The rows of icons you see along the top of the window is a toolbar. The toolbars can be moved around to suit your work process. To move the toolbar, simply click on the grab bar and drag it to the desired location.

You can have the toolbar float over the image pane by dragging it down into the image pane area. If you use a tool frequently, it can save you mousing time to have it float over the image.

To move the toolbar out of the image pane (called "docking"), click on the toolbar and drag it away.
