On the composite tab you have a dynamic toolbar with some static tools and other tools that in turn activate their own set of tools.

The tools that are available at all times are as follows:

Hand Tool

The Hand Tool is used to move a page up and down for easy browsing.

Unit Tool

Clicking the Unit Tool will display a dropdown menu for selection of grid display units.

Select Millimeters to see the grid displayed in metric units and Inches

Unit Selection

•	Revert Background

Using the Revert Background button will reset the page to its original properties.

The toolbar also contains a Markup View button and a Composite View button. Depending on which button is currently selected you will see a different selection of tools.

From the Markup View you have access to the Highlight and Delete Highlight tool:

Markup View

•	Highlight Tool

The Highlight tool will let you select an area for editing or for protecting against background editing. Click the Highlight tool and select the area you wish to separate from the page background. Once an area is selected, you can edit the area separately from the rest of the page or you can edit the background on the page without impacting your selected area.

•	Delete Highlight Tool

Clicking the Delete Highlight tool will remove the highlighted area. It will not delete the part of the image that was highlighted; just deselect it by removing the highlight.

From the Composite View you have access to a Selection and Deskew tool:

Composite View

•	Selection Tool

Use the Selection tool to select an area to edit.

•	Deskew Tool

The Deskew can be applied to a whole page or to a selected area of the page.
