| Sometimes it is convenient to see all your images side-by-side. The Thumbnail View was designed for exactly this purpose. It displays the scaled-down version of your images side-by-side as shown in Figure 7-8.

| To display the Thumbnail View, right-click the File Browsing List, the Selected Files List, the Exception List, or the Good File List, and select Thumbnail View option from the popup menu. If you didn't close the last Thumbnail View but the thumbnail window is hidden by your other windows, select the Thumbnail View option from the Window menu.
| |
| You can navigate in the Thumbnail View window with your mouse. If all the thumbnails cannot be displayed on the thumbnail window, use the scroll bar to view the other thumbnails that are off the screen.
| |
| There are two kinds of thumbnail windows. The first is the single-select Thumbnail View, where you can only select one thumbnail image at a time. The other is the multiselect Thumbnail View, where you can select more than one image by holding down the Shift or Ctrl key. This is just like selecting images in the Image Browsing List. Multiselect Thumbnail Views have buttons at the bottom of the window as shown in Figure 7-9.

| The Thumbnail View buttons have these functions:
| |
| · | Add to Selected Files List: Select one or more images, then click on this button to add the images to the Selected Files List. This is a convenient way of selecting images for processing, because you can see all your images in smaller size and you select the ones you would like to be processed.
| |
| · | Select All: Click on this button to select all the images in the Thumbnail View. This is good if you want to add all the images to the Selected Files List.
| |
| · | Deselect All: Click on this button to deselect all the images in the Thumbnail View. This is good if you changed your mind and you want to do the selection again.
| |
| · | Invert Selection: Inverts the current selection. After that, all selected images will be deselected, and vice versa.
