Thumbnails
| The Thumbnails page contains the parameters that affect thumbnail display as shown in Figure 10-5.

| The parameters in the Thumbnail display group box determine the size of the thumbnails and the behavior of the Thumbnail View:

| · | The Scale factor for parameters determine the downscale factor for the thumbnail images. The scale factor is resolution dependent. You only need to specify one of the scale factors, the other parameters will be calculated automatically, so that the thumbnail image size will be independent from the resolution of the original image.

| · | The Select image as you move the mouse over it option determines whether a thumbnail image should be automatically selected as you move the mouse pointer over it. Check the check box to turn the option on. If you do not like this feature, turn it off by unchecking the check box.

| The Thumbnail cache group box holds the following thumbnail cache settings:

| · | Click the Compress Cache button to compress the thumbnail files in the thumbnail cache.
|
| · | Click the Clear Cache button to clear all the cache entries.
|
| · | The Maximal number of images in the cache specifies an upper limit for the number of cache entries.
