Resize Page Overview
| The Resize page is independent from all the other pages. While the Job Setup, Page Setup, Margin Setup and Cleanup pages contain important settings about the job and the image processor engine, the Resize page is just an extension to the standard PPP.
| |
| The basic idea behind PPP is that your input images are automatically processed and sent either to the Good Files list or to the Exception List. In a regular workflow, PPP cleans up your images, detects the subimage and positions it on a new canvas. Resizing is not part of this workflow.
| |
| Resizing, if desired, can be performed after all of your images are successfully processed the regular way. Resizing is an additional step that can only be done after all your images are in the Good Files List. The settings in the Resize page do not affect the regular image processing workflow. Therefore we recommend that you ignore the Resize page until all of your images are in the Good Files List.

| A screen shot of the Resize page can be seen in Figure 6-26.

| In the top left corner is a check box titled Resize subimage. You can use it for turning the resizing feature on and off. We suggest that you turn it off if you do not need to resize your images.
| |
| The Resize Settings tab (Figure 6-27) contains options for specifying how images may be resized and how they are merged after resizing.
