Reprocessing an Image
Previous Top Next

In most cases, you will fix an exception by going back to the main window and changing the image processor settings. Sometimes you will also want to edit the input image with PixEdit; for example, manually turn the image or clear some speckles. After those changes, you will want to reprocess your images.

To reprocess a single image, first select the exception in the Exception List, then click the Re-process button. This will open the processor indicator window, and start processing the selected image. You need to wait until PPP finishes processing, usually within 10 seconds. After that, you can see the result immediately. The image either disappears from the Exception List and goes into the Good Files List, or it remains in the Exception List. In the latter case, you will want to modify the parameters again, until the result is considered good. You can go through all the images in the Exception List this way.
