How to Control Quality with PPP?

Quality assurance is a key issue, regardless if processing images for the Print On Demand market, form processing based applications or general cleanup before OCR or Acrobat work.

The goal is to produce Known Good Images -- a daunting task if thousands or tens of thousands of images have to be processed in a short period of time. PPP is now here to make this process as automated as possible.

The ultimate quality test is a thorough manual inspection by an operator. This involves inspecting the image for completeness, scanning quality and other criteria (margins, image cleanliness, etc.) and making manual adjustments. This is a very costly process.
