Quality Control through JOBs

Controlling thousands of images is not easy. With PPP, one can create any number of batches and jobs which can in turn be saved. The saved job file will contain relevant information about:

• File Locations
• Page Setup
• Cleanup Settings
• Exception List
• Good Files List

A typical workflow would be:

• Set up watched folders for automatic thumbnail generation (for faster thumbnail display).
• Set up jobs (select the files, set up the page parameters, specify cleanup parameters).
• Process multiple jobs initiating an automatic process.
• After processing, distribute job files to operators for review and QC.

The extensive log file generation of PPP makes it possible to integrate the workflow into an accounting system, thus easing customer billing.
