Installing PPP
| We know you will want to install the software on your computer as soon as you receive the package.

| 1. Close all Windows programs.
|
| 2. Insert the PPP CD-ROM in your CD drive.
|
| 3. When PPP Introduction window appears, select Install PPP.

| · | If you have turned off the autostart function of Windows, the Introduction window will not automatically appear on the screen. In this case, click the Windows Start menu on the task bar, then choose the Run option. Now type the following in the edit box:

| where D is the drive letter for your CD drive. You can also use Explorer to launch setup.exe.

| 4. When the installation program starts, you will see an introduction screen. Click the Next button to go to the next page.

| 5. The Software License Agreement shown in a scrollable text box. Please read this agreement carefully. Click Yes if you accept all the terms of this agreement, otherwise click No. To install PPP, you must accept the agreement.

| 6. Specify the location of PPP on your hard drive. The default location is C:\Program Files\Elan\PPP. If this directory is acceptable, click Next. If you want to install PPP in a different drive or to a different directory, click Browse and specify the destination directory. Then continue by clicking on the Next button.

| 7. Specify the program folder name. By default, it is Precise Page Positioning. This means that PPP will be added to the Start menu under the Programs submenu in the Precise Page Positioning. If you would like to change this name, edit the folder name in the edit box. Click the Next button to go on to the next page.

| 8. You are informed that the files are ready to be installed on your hard drive. If you are sure that the previous options are correctly set up, click the Next button. If you want to modify some of the installation settings, click the Back button.

| 9. When the installation is finished, the finish screen will pop up. Click Finish. The installation program exits.

| 10. The InstallShield Self-Extracting EXE dialog box appears. Click Yes.
|
| 11. The Warning Dialog box appears. Click Yes.
|
| 12. The HASP Device Driver dialog box appears. Click Next.
|
| 13. Click the Typical button.
|
| 15. The Information dialog box appears. Click OK.
|
| 16. The Setup Complete dialog box appears. Click Finish.
|
| 17. Install the Keylock before running PPP.
|
| After installation, you will find PPP in the Start menu. Select

| Start > Programs > Precise Page Positioning
| |
| and click the Precise Page Positioning icon ( ). You can also find the program's icon in the desktop screen of Windows.
