Customizing PPP

| PPP offers you several options for customizing the program to your needs.
|
|
|
| You can customize the look, the feel, the environment, and the behavior of PPP. Do not be afraid of changing any of these options. Change the parameters until PPP looks and works according to your imagination. Remember, you cannot hurt the integrity of PPP or your system by changing the custom parameters. In case you mess up the settings, there is an easy way in PPP to restore all options to their default states.

| To change any of the custom settings for PPP, click PPP Options... on the Options menu. This will open the Options dialog box, which has four different pages for the different options. At the bottom of the dialog box is a button bar with the following buttons:

| · |  OK: Click to apply the changes you have made in the Options dialog box.
|
| · |  Cancel: Click to close the Options dialog box without applying the changes. Use this button if you have changed your mind and do not want to change the current options.
|
| · |  Defaults: Click to reset all options to their default states.
|
| · |  Help: Click to open the online help.
|
| In this chapter, we will discuss all the options in the Options dialog box.
