PDF Converson Module

The PDF Conversion Module creates standard or linearized PDF files. The PDF files can be single-layer or multi-layer, depending on the image components of the page originator application (Standard Image Processor, Image Processor Pro, Elan Editor etc.). The created PDF files can be in single-page of multipage format. Bookmarks and hyperlinks are supported. Searchability of the PDF file is supported through the OCR process (when the OCR Module is available). The PDF Metadata entries (Document Information Fields) are also supported if presented by an indexing application. Opening page behavior can be specified

  1. Linearized (web-ready) output
  2. Support for PDF version 1.3
  3. Single or multipage output
  4. Accepts output from the Elan Job Tree
  5. Accepts direct file selection (direct PDF conversion)
  6. Creates highly interactive PDF files with bookmarks and interlinking
  7. Image + Text output (searchable PDF)
  8. Multiple PDF output option with separate settings for each output
