Standard ELAN GMK scanning module for TWAIN compatible scanners, including network scanning devices.
Our scanning module supports TWAIN compatible devices. The TWAIN
standard enables manufacturers to support different hardware layers
(SCSI, USB, Firewire, etc...). High
speed scanning requirements demanded by document imaging are fully
supported.
The underlying architecture code is complex and maintained rigorously to adjust for new features and add support for various models not fully compliant with standards. is based on client-server architecture. The TWAIN source communicates with the scanning servlet, which buffers the incoming images, and serves them to the scanning client (application side) whenever it is available.
