Opening an Existing Job

Once you have created a job, you can re-open it and continue working on it. those settings to process similar scanning jobs quickly. Here is the preferred way to open up an existing job:
- Navigate to the job folder in the file system
- Give the "Open Job" command: menu item Job -> Open Job
There are further options:
- Press Ctrl+O.
- On the Workflow Toolbar, click the Open Job icon
. This will present a file browser of your operating system. - On the Workflow Toolbar, click on the Tree Icon
. It will open an existing job in the current directory without the dialog. - From Windows Explorer, double-click on the Capture.org file. You must first associate this file extension with the ECapture.exe file.
Note About Saving Job Changes:
ELAN Capture will close the job you have open before opening a new one. If the current job's settings have changed, ELAN Capture will ask you to decide if you want to save the job. If you click Yes, ELAN Capture will save the job for you. If you click No, the changes to the job will be lost. (This cannot be undone.) If you change your mind and want to continue working on the current job, choose Cancel to cancel the new job creation.
