When scanning double-sided, many times there is a need to remove blank pages from the job.

Blank Page Removal Toolbar
It is easy to remove blank pages using a 3 step process:
1. Detect Blank Pages ![]()
Pressing this icon opens up the following dialog:

The sensitivity of the detection can be changed by entering the percentage of the black content of the page. Black content is determined by counting the black pixels in an image versus the total number of pixels. Grayscale or color images will be thresholded first.
2. QC by Toggle Blank Pages ![]()
Many time just the black content detection does not flag the correct clank page. In this case you can toggle the blank page state.
3. Remove Blank Pages ![]()
Once all the blank pages are correctly flagged, press the "Remove Blank Pages" icon. The following dialog is presented:

If the "Delete associated files box is checked, all the files will be erased on the file system. Otherwise only the tree item(s) will be removed.
